Student Projects & Theses

Inquiries about bachelor and master theses and projects are always welcome. We offer projects and theses about topics in robotics and including the following ones.

• SLAM
• Autonomous navigation
• Reinforcement learning for control and decision making
• Deep learning for environment perception and scene understanding
• Self-supervised and unsupervised learning

Requirements: Prior knowledge about artificial intelligence and robotics is highly recommended. Students will also benefit from experience/skills in programming (Python, C++, ROS) and with Linux.

Please send your application (including CV, transcripts, motivation letter) to ais-apply@cs.uni-freiburg.de. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated. The motivation letter should be no longer than one page. In the motivation letter, you should describe your skills and experience in the relevant fields you apply for.
